Music

Grace provides many opportunities for our congregants to be involved in the music during worship. Opportunities include the Choir, Special Music, and Praise Team. Below is information about each of these music ministries at Grace.

The Grace English Lutheran Church Choir provides special music during during Sunday worship services from September through May, and on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten season. This volunteer group rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7 pm in the sanctuary. The group does a wide variety of genres of sacred anthems including traditional, hymn arrangements, praise and worship, contemporary and spirituals. In addition, the group presents an annual Christmas Cantata in the early part of December at our church, and at other area congregations. If you are interested in joining this great group of people, please contact Jeremy Fritz or simply come to a rehearsal. No prior singing or music experience is required for participation.

The Grace Praise Team provides contemporary music for worship once a quarter. This volunteer group rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6 pm in the sanctuary. The group leads contemporary praise and worship music with vocals, piano, flute, and percussion. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Jessica Fritz. We are always looking for both vocalists and instrumentalists.

There are many opportunities to provide special music throughout the year. All instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome. Want to do a tuba and piccolo duet? No problem. If you are interested, please contact Jessica Fritz.
